Terences Story
Having been a hair and make-up artist for 15 years I decided it was time for a change.
I knew it was important to get the right qualifications to do the job correctly and to the highest standard. I absolutely didn’t want to be an average groomer but instead a true professional pet stylist that achieved the best results and the happiest dogs.
I did a lot of research to find the right training school for me and found GroomArts Academy. I could not fault GroomArts Academy’s reputation; their student success rate was perfect and the multi award-winning tutors were incredibly talented and I wanted to train with the best.
With moderate dyslexia I didn’t think I would be able to do the theory side of the City & Guilds Qualification however GroomArts Academy were fully equipped to support me through the programme with adapted learning tools and resources to help me throughout. It was hard work but I’m not afraid of that and I loved every minute of it.
I completed my course and at the end of my 20 days training I was already fully booked with appointments for my first two weeks of business so literally hit the ground running straight away and it took off!
The course itself was great but it was the tutors and additional online help that really helped me excel and achieve my full potential
