How to find accommodation options for your course

When you are looking at investing in your future, getting the best quality of education is really important. However, getting this quality of education isn't always within an easy to reach distance.

When researching accommodation options, it can be hard to know where to start! You need to consider things like your budget, distance, amenities and much more, which can become a daunting task.

Here are some options you can consider:

  • Friends and Family

Although this isn't an option for everyone, consider if you have any friends or relatives that live in the area that you can stay with. If it is possible it's a great way to save some money for other areas of your new business!

  • Online House-Sharing Options

Online sites like AirBnB and Sparerooms have great options to stay locally for a low price per week. There are many options for what type of accommodation you'd prefer, from sharing common areas with other lodgers through to having the whole place to yourself!

  • Local Bed and Breakfast

Many local pubs and B&B's offer affordable accommodation, from as low as £26 a night, with the option to include breakfast. This is a fantastic option to help increase your comfort during the course and to help make your mornings less stressful!

  • Chain Hotels

If you're after something familiar without any frills, chain hotels are a great option as you can find them even in remote places! This is a great option for affordability and basic comforts - you know exactly what you'll get.

Where are we?

We're based in London Colney, just outside of St Albans, so there are accommodation options available to you near to the Academy and a bit further out into St Albans.

St Albans has a great collection of cheaper chain hotels like Premier Inn, as well as little boutique hotels if you want to treat yourself!
