20 Days Practical Grooming Course

Come study at Groomarts Academy for a 20-day intensive dog grooming training. Get the basics down before you start and then show off your new skills by completing a checklist of activities once you've completed the practical training. You can then be awarded the Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management.

28 Dogs Groomed Whilst Studying

Each student will have the opportunity to groom 28 dogs during their practical dog grooming course. With the support of our 4 expert grooming teachers, your class of up to 15 students will develop the knowledge, skills, and understanding of dog grooming in a supportive and engaging environment.

Study Monday - Friday for 4 Weeks

Our intensive course runs Monday to Friday for 4 weeks, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with some shorter days depending on the group's progress. You will have dedicated time with your teacher to learn skills such as dog health checks, grooming consultations, and maintaining accurate canine records.

Theory and Practical Grooming Training

Unleash your potential in 20 days with our comprehensive dog grooming qualification! Spend 14 days perfecting grooming skills, with 3.5 hours dedicated to each dog. In addition, achieve the prestigious IPET Level 3 award in Canine Workplace First Aid, attend 6 knowledge lessons, observe 4 grooming demonstrations, and map a clear path for ongoing development. Elevate your expertise, nurture your passion, and embark on a rewarding journey towards mastery!

3 Practical Assessments & Workbook - No Final Exam.

Experience hands-on assessment in the Groomarts Level 3 Dog Grooming Course! No final exams - just real-world skills put to the test. From independent full grooms to documentation of your journey, we'll support you every step of the way. Show what you've got and make your grooming passion shine! Your assessments are done with your assessor and typically around day 10-15, we then have time to feedback and provide an opportunity for resits if the need arises.

No Prior Dog Grooming Experience Needed

The dog grooming qualification has an entry criteria that the learner must be 16+, able to be assessed in English, and capable of working at the standard required to achieve a Level 3 Diploma. No prior grooming or academic experience, qualifications, or training is needed to enroll in this course. Additionally, IPET Network does not accept credits for previous or alternative qualifications, ensuring an open and accessible pathway for all aspiring dog groomers.
